What We Do

We work with communities to identify and develop clean energy strategies and models based on locally available resources, and we provide them with tools and assessments to help them make decisions with regards to their community energy needs.

At the same time, we work with clean energy technology companies to develop and deliver a solution to identified needs, and to advise and support them in the effective marketing of these new solutions and in accessing global markets for their export.

We also assist in coordinating and aligning funding from various government programs, and in attracting investment from large global players to support the development of projects.

Services Offered To Communities

CTCG focuses its efforts on assisting remote communities in meeting their energy needs and goals by:

  • Identifying and developing clean energy strategies and options based on locally available resources to displace their current dependence on energy from diesel generators
  • Evaluating community energy demand and supply, and assessing the availability and scale of local resources to create a unique integrated system solution
  • Reviewing existing data, plans and project proposals to advise communities on feasible energy scenarios
  • Providing community leadership with the resources, tools and assessments required to help them make decisions with regards to their community energy needs and options
  • Facilitating strategic partnerships among communities and public and private sector players for efficient planning, implementation and maintenance of community-led projects
  • Securing funding assistance from various government programs to develop and implement these clean energy solutions
  • Providing capacity building and skills training where and when required to ensure the sustainability of projects
