About Us

CTCG is a neutral, not-for-profit organization consisting of public and private sector partners who are dedicated to developing and deploying clean technology solutions within remote communities in British Columbia.

Our Objectives

  • Develop collaboration opportunities for clean technology companies and communities to generate innovative solutions that support communities in their pursuit of sustainable economies.
  • Take a holistic systems approach to developing clean energy and housing solutions that match the needs of remote communities.
  • Be a launch pad to showcase both technical and social innovation within remote communities.
  • Foster the development of local and global value chains to improve market innovation and competitiveness.
  • Strengthen the region’s capacity around sustainable housing and energy to enable British Columbia and Canada to be leaders in clean technology.

Our Structure

The CleanTech Community Gateway is a Victoria-based organization governed by a Board of Directors from the public and private sectors consisting of Member Directors and Advisors. Member Directors are designated and appointed by member organizations of CTCG, which include the National Research Council, Province of British Columbia, and private stakeholders. Advisory Board members are elected by the Member Directors. The Board of Directors monitors and supports the operations and strategic plans developed by the core Management team.
